Welcome to PIMS OnLine! The excitement surrounding our pursuit of a new methodology to reach future funeral service practioners is almost deafening at 5808 Baum Boulevard. Amelia Earhart maintained, "A mind stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions."

As we enter the third millenium, we hope to stretch all of our minds through this new approach to funeral service education. And all of us at the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science know that we will be forever changed by the adventures that we will encounter and by your noteworthy achievements that we will share.

We all bring experiences to this virtual classroom and we wholeheartedly solicit all of your feedback as we move forward. One ingredient of the entire classroom event that is particularly appealing to "those who teach" is that with every experience brought to the classroom, we incorporate it to improve our own lives. And we hope you will too.

As we both view funeral service from outside the box, (figuratively and literally), maybe we can all create change.....change that will speak of brilliant accomplishments and that which will ultimately raise the standard of service to the consumers we serve.
